MTS has announced the renewal of a contract to provide integrated telecommunications services to state and municipal organizations in the Perm Region of Russia. In addition to traditional mobile services, such as voice, roaming, and messaging services – MTS will also begin to provide state representatives with the high-speed mobile and fixed-line Internet access.
In 2015, MTS was the first company to adopt the LTE-A in the region to be able to increase internet speeds to 150 Mb/sec. Over the last year, the data traffic among corporate clients including authorities has doubled.
In addition, MTS has been able to win contracts with the authorities of the Kirov Region where it will provide mobile and fixed-line services to municipal institutions in 2016 and a 3-year contract with the subsidiary of Transneft in the Samara Region for providing mobile services.

MTS won a recent tender to provide the government of the Republic of Bashkortostan with mobile services that include special tariffs covering mobile network, roaming services – both for travelling abroad and within Russia, and mobile internet access with speeds up to 150 Mb/sec.
Over 2015, MTS has invested over RUB 1 bln to improve telecommunications infrastructure in the region.
MTS also won tenders and prolonged contracts with state and municipal institutions in the Tyumen, Yugra and Yamal regions. MTS will provide regional authorities with mobile and fixed-line services.
According to AC&M Consulting, MTS services over 40% of corporate clients in Russia.

In H1 2015, MTS added over 100 corporate customers. During the period, 1.5 times more SIM cards were sold than in H1 2014. Russia's leading banks, industrial companies, retailers, IT and FMCG companies have chosen MTS as a provider of mobile, fixed-line and IT integtation services. Among our new customers are ITAR-TASS media agency, AZIMUT Hotels Company, Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz as well as many SMB companies.

Half of all newly acquired MTS corporate customers are using mobile Internet in addition to voice services. Penetration of data usage among corporate customers has increased by 10% year-over-year. Russian companies are actively using M2M solutions, including smart meters, employee monitoring, navigation and geolocation services as well as online access to corporate resources. We also register growing demand for the services of data processing centers and cloud solutions.
The development of LTE networks and rising smartphone penetration are impacting the patterns of mobile Internet usage. In addition to mailbox services on mobile devices, corporate customers are adopting instant messenger services, online conferences and dedicated mobile applications to improve communications both within company and with clients and partners.
